Jet Roberts started calling in 1971 at the young age of eight years old. Three years later he was calling for three local clubs in the Sacramento, California area. His dream was to be a full time caller & his dream came true, as calling became his full time profession.
Currently Jet has a home program ranging from 2 beginning classes a year along with two weekly plus workshops & one A-2 workshop. You can find him on weekends doing various weekend & festival events within the USA & overseas a few times a year.
Jet has recorded for several record companies. He got his first start with Chinook records at the age sixteen. Since then he has recorded for record labels such as Fine Tune records, Eureka records, CbarC records, Blue Star records, Aussie Tempos & co-owner & producer of Diamond records. He is a ACA & BMI/ASCAP licensed caller.
Besides being one of the top callers in the United States he is also very popular in several other countries. To date Jet has been featured in countries such as Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand & spent two years calling full time in Australia, along with dance packages in Mexico & on cruise ships.
Jet & his wife Sylvia met in Sweden while he was on tour & they were married in Orebro, Sweden on July 24, 2004. They currently reside in Antelope, California. Jet is the father of two girls, Lacey born in 1988 & Lindsey in 1991. On February 22, 2009, Sylvia gave birth to Stella Elisabeth Roberts.
